Leo Lundy

Leo Lundy is a PhD candidate at Trinity College Dublin’s Trinity Centre for Biomedical Engineering, working under Prof. Richard B. Reilly and Dr. Neil Fleming. His research explores multi-marathoners—runners who complete hundreds of marathons—integrating data across participation, physiology, psychology, and cognition. A multi-marathoner himself with over 400 completions, Leo’s work bridges sport science and real-world endurance practice, with publications in PLOS ONE, Acta Psychologica, and Scientific Reports. He is also an active member of the international 100 Marathon Club community and a frequent presenter at global sport science conferences.
