I can’t remember the year I started running (2004 maybe?), but I can’t forget saying that I would never participate in a race.
Then my girlfriend (now my wife) and I travelled for a race she would run with another friend. It was an easy 5K, but I got amazed with the atmosphere, the people, the vibe, the runners... Then I ran my first race in the end of 2009, another easy 5K at home.
I kept running and thinking I would never run 42K. A Marathon? It’s soooo long! No, thank you.
Then I kept running, running and running... 10K, 21K and, suddenly, I was preparing for my first Marathon in 2013.
I was going to run my first 42K at home, but, due to a pneumonia 10 days before, I could not participate.
So, 1 week after pneumonia recovery, I started looking for a Marathon to run. After all, I spent 4 months preparing for a race!
Then I found Amsterdam Marathon and there we went! The dutch race was my first Marathon and the beginning of my Globetrotter life.
Travelling and Running are 2 of my passions.
Let’s keep running the world!
