Anders Forselius

I am Anders Forselius, one of the club founders. I am a Swedish sport journalist working for Runner's World Sweden, Bonnier News and a few other publications. I am also a tour guide for the Swedish running/traveling company Springtime Travel. I therefore meet a lot of runners from Scandinavia, athletes who I try to convince to become a Globetrotter. The Scandinavians love to travel so I think we will have many more Globetrotters from Northern Europe in the future. I ran my first overseas marathon in Vancouver, Canada, back in 1996, and since then I have been running marathons in 68 countries including 33 countries in one year. I have run marathons in all fifty American states and this is also where I have my favorite races: Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Missoula... My favorite marathons outside the U.S are in Athens, Prague, Dublin, Barcelona and Luxembourg. I do love to ride my bicycle between my marathons and that exercise is also a great way to recover from the races and explore our beautiful world. See you at the next race! //Anders
