Jim Diego

Jim Diego was from New York City and was an accomplished recreational runner, having completed both a half marathon and a full marathon (or longer) in all fifty US states and later, racking up the miles in the air and on the ground internationally as he ran races around the globe. He completed 96 half marathons and over 100 marathons in just over five years. He was also highly recognized as a national anthem singer at road races large and small all over the US, and sang the Star Spangled Banner in all 50 states, a feat that was covered in the US edition of Runners' World (https://www.runnersworld.com/runners-stories/a25171610/jim-diego-national-anthem-marathon/).
