Nilson Paulo Lima

I was born in Uberlândia, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. I ran my first Marathon in 1998, in São Paulo, Brazil at the age of 45. The most impressive experience was in 2013 in Boston just after finishing the 100th marathon, due to the bomb attack.

In July this year 2016, I will be running a marathon my hometown that carries my name as a recognition for what I have been doing for the sport throughout these years. This will be my 150th marathon. I have run in 5 continents and 20 countries so far. Besides running, I write for the local newspaper every week.
