I wasn't destined to run a marathon or enjoy running in my youth. I loved sport in general, and then over the years, random encounters I started to take up the challenges of distances to focus on the marathon. My dream was to run the NYC Marathon for my 40th birthday. So I started by running the marathon in the country's capital: Paris. And then my dream came true with NYC marathon in 2004. Then, the marathon of the city where I live in France in Toulouse. Then, I took up other challenges by running the 26.2 distance in other countries and on all continents. I became Seven Continents Finisher in 2013 with my experience in Antarctica, rubbing shoulders with runners of all nationalities, most of whom are friends now. My appetite for marathon distance led me to join the Marathon Majors challenge, and it was in 2016 that I became World Marathon Majors Finisher on a beautiful fall day for my second marathon in New York. I became a member of the Globetrotters marathon in 2016 and I participated in my first MG Annual Club Meeting in 2017 in Luxor (Egypt), and afterwards for the organization of the MG Annual Club Meeting 2019 on the occasion of the Buenos Aires Marathon (Argentina). In this year 2022, I have completed 59 marathons run in 54 countries or territories on the planet. It's a lot of time spent in airports, planes and hotels, but above all it's countless joys, encounters and sharing with fellow runners from all continents. And it is with pleasure that I will fulfill my MG Western Europe Ambassador Role, with the objective of convincing most marathon runners to join us in the Globetrotters marathon adventure
