Race Directors of small events that intend to satisfy Marathon Globetrotters (MG) rules:
In the pursuit of running a marathon in many countries around the world clubs, such as the Marathon Globetrotters, have created a standard rule set in order to count the completion. To add clarity to events and planning by participate we have asked the Race Directors that are creating small events around the world to commit their intent to satisfy Marathon Globetrotter rules as posted here: https://marathonglobetrotters.org/qualification/rules/
There are 3 Race Director (RD) categories. We recommend selecting from the “Yes” RD category and avoid the “Maybe” or “No”, unless you really want to run a marathon in that location even if it does not count.
Yes:
Don Bierer: TNT Marathons https://www.tntmarathons.com/
JC Santa Teresa: Star Racing https://www.starracing.org/
Dayo Akinbode: Fog Adventures https://fogadventures.com/
Ziyad Rahim: Z Adventures https://www.z-adventures.org/index.html
Wojtek Machnik: Go4Adventures Ltd: https://go4adventures.org/
Damian Senecki: Climate Front Marathons: http://www.kiribatimarathon.org/
Pei (Muantawan Arsrairas): no company
Brent Weigner: no company
Maybe:
Mirko Leffler: no company
No:
Klaus Westphal: no company or website
Raoul Bjorn: no company or website
Klaus Egedesoe: no company or website
Parvaneh Moayadi: no company or website
Michael Keenan: no company or website
“Yes” means the RD intends to follow MG rules and it is likely to count. “Yes” does not mean the RD guarantees to meet all rules and the event will be approved. As always, we never pre-approve an event since there are many factors that can change on race day.
“Maybe” means the RD might decide to satisfy MG rules, but it is up to participants to ask the RD about the particular event. The MG Membership director will be following up with the RD and participants if an event is submitted for credit.
“No” means the RD will not be attempting to meet MG rules, but it is possible MG rules will be satisfied. It is up to participants to ask. The MG Membership director will be following up with the RD and participants if an event is submitted for credit.
