I am from Benton, a small town in western Kentucky, and I've been running marathons since 2010. I'm an attorney by trade, and in addition to running, I'm a huge sports fan, primarily University of Kentucky athletics, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, and thoroughbred horse racing. My wife (Jenny) and I live on a farm and we love our cats and dogs.

As a child I had asthma which restricted my ability to exercise, but thankfully I have grown out of that for the most part. I hope to spend the rest of my life running and exploring different parts of the world in the process.
