Tim Teege

My name is Tim Teege and I started running quite late at age 25. A co-worker and I signed up for a marathon just for fun, and while I struggled very much during those 42 kilometers, I cried tears of joy in the end and was hooked.

So I created a goal for myself to run all 28 EU member countries, because I like to travel and explore as well as to run. The amount of races per year steadily increased for me, as well as my enjoyment of them. At the time of writing this, I am at 27 of the 28.

During those last seven years I was lucky enough to get married to my dear wife and welcome three little daughters into the world, with one more on the way. All of them usually accompany me on the marathon trips, which is lovely.

I also ventured into the world of ultramarathons and triathlons, completing three iron distance races and 21 in total so far. In my free time I like to play the guitar and the drums to get rid of whatever amount of energy is still left in me.
