Tim Teege

My name is Tim Teege and I started running at age 25. A co-worker and I signed up for a marathon just for fun, and while I struggled very much during those 42 kilometers, I cried tears of joy in the end and was hooked. So I created a goal for myself to run all then 28 EU member countries, because I like to travel and explore as well as to run. The amount of races per year steadily increased for me, as well as my enjoyment of them. The project was done in 2018 and I haven’t stopped but rather put running onto another level in my life. A personal best of 2:58:44, several iron distance triathlons, and many ultramarathons (some even with a win in the end) made it on my resumé. I was lucky enough to get married to my dear wife and welcome four little daughters into the world who grow up fast. In 2023 I sold the internet company I had built over the past 12 years and now spend my time being the primary caregiver to our daughters while my wife is a full-time medical doctor.
