Bryan Lip is an Australian endurance runner and the President of International Frontrunners who is famous for running massive marathon challenges. Background and Goals: The Runner: Bryan is a former lawyer and tech enthusiast who retired early to focus entirely on his passion for running. He retired in Feb 2024. The 52 Challenge: He set a goal to run 52 marathons in 52 weeks leading up to his 52nd birthday, representing LGBTQ+ visibility globally. He is actually running 72 in 2026. He intends to average 52 in around 3 hours 15 minutes. In April he ran 2:56 in Boston Monday, 3:38 Bergen Norway Saturday and 3:04 London UK on Sunday. He loves his back to back races. And ran the Magnetic 10 Marathons 10 Days multi-day series, all sub 4 hours. The 100 Milestone: He is a member of the Braverunners AUSNZ 100 Marathon Club and is on track to complete 100 total marathons. New York City Marathon in Nov 2026 will be his 100th career marathon (achieved in 2 and a bit years). Global: Bryan has run a marathon in every Australia State and Territory that has one, and also intends to run a marathon in every Malaysian State and Territory.
